Scout Compass Metal Housing

The Scout Compass combines a metal housing with a flip-open design and a built-in sighting device for hands-on outdoor navigation. With a 52 mm diameter, the compass sits in a compact handheld format that suits route checks on grassy paths, in the park, or during scouting activities. When opened, the lid stands upright and works together with the viewing elements to support bearing checks toward a point in the distance. The round dial shows the cardinal directions clearly, while the base carries map-style scale markings that add another practical layer for orientation tasks. This setup gives the compass more than a simple direction display: it supports looking, aligning, and reading in a clear sequence. The metal housing also adds a distinct field-tool character to the overall build. Used outdoors, the compass fits naturally into treasure hunts, beginner orienteering, and simple route-finding games. A child can open the housing, line up the sighting device, and compare direction before moving on, turning a walk or expedition game into an active navigation moment.
